Okay, my pet peeve with printers is the cost of ink. Sure, you can get a cheap printer for well under $100, but then, you often need to buy ink almost every month, and this can easily run you $30. I never bothered to calculate how much I spend every year on inkjet cartridges, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it surpassed $200. Given this unfortunate scenario, I inevitably began looking for a way to buy ink more cheaply.
Lo and behold, it turns out you can buy cartridges online and they cost a lot less this way. On average, I save about $10 per cartridge over what I pay at local office supply stores. Another good thing is that they have a pretty big selection at online ink stores. My favorite store is Inkfarm because they let you save money if you use a Inkfarm coupon codes from this inkjet cartridge site.
Apparently, there are quite a few ways to save on ink. I don’t know how far to take this. There are people who refill empty cartridges on their own but do I really want to do this? I have to decide at what point I’ll be wasting my time when considering the relatively amount of money I am saving. As with everything, there is a point of diminishing returns. If you do decide you want to check out this option, there are plenty of ink refill kits you can purchase online. You need to make sure you get a kit that will work for your cartridge model. In addition, you can view a lot of videos on Youtube on how to refill empty cartridges.
